The Fourth of July Parade on Pawleys Island, South Carolina, USA 2018. This is the 51st Annual Summer event held on the small coastal island.
Many of the locals dress their boats as red, white, and blue floats and pull them down the main street of the island. Even though there was a threat of storms the turnout was big as ever. Beach chairs filled with spectators lined the streets waiting to the decorated floats to come by.
It was a great day out there. Pawleys Island is on of my favorite places in South Carolina to visit. Beautiful beaches and great local people. Plus, some of the best golf courses in the world.
